Summit Container Corporation, a Monument Colorado corrugated packaging manufacturer has been named the "2007 MED Week Manufacturer of the Year" by the Minority Enterprise Development (MED)Week Partners.
The Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week Partners is a coalition made up of: The Council-RMMSDC, Denver Metro SBDC, Asian Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Mountain Indian Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Office of Economic Development-Minority Business Office, City & County of Denver, MEED, SADBOC, The Latina Chamber and DIA Day.

The award was presented to Summit Container Corporation on Friday, September 21, 2007 at the MED Week Business Awards Luncheon in Denver, Colorado. Carol Johnson, Summit's Vice President of Marketing accepted the award for the company.
Summit Container Corporation is a 25 year old manufacturer of corrugated packaging products. The company has two manufacturing facilities located in Monument and Arvada Colorado. Summit employs 32 employees in the two plants.
