Golden based Coors Brewing Company named Summit Container Corporation a 2006 "Gold Supplier" at its annual Supplier Forum awards dinner. The event was held in Denver, Colorado on April 24, 2006.
The Gold Supplier award is considered by Summit as an extreme accomplishment as only 21 Gold Suppliers earned the status out of over 3,000 Coors' suppliers.
Summit Container was also honored at the awards dinner as Coors'
"Minority Supplier of the Year". |
The awards were presented by Ronald D. Schnur, Vice President -Strategic Sourcing for Coors Brewing Company.
J. Joe Mena, President of Summit Container said the earning of Gold Supplier status at Coors underscores that Summit has matured into a high performing operation.
