Summit Packaging Solutions has a rich history. Founded in 1984, the company was initially named Summit Packaging and headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Summit Packaging specialized in the designed and manufacturing of corrugated products.
Summit Packaging changed ownership in 1989 at which time it was renamed Summit Container and moved to a much larger facility in Monument, Colorado, just north of Colorado Springs. Summit Container specialized in ESD related products and services for major telecommunications and other electronics companies. The company also rebranded itself and adopted this brand mark which it retained until 2014.
In 2014, Summit Container was acquired by 127 Summit Holdings, an investment holding company co-founded by Adam Walker, a packaging industry veteran and now CEO of Summit Container, and Richard Powell. Under the leadership of Mr. Walker, the company has updated its brand mark this year reflecting on the company’s creative and innovative culture.
